Online Bootroom LTD was created 5 years ago by an ex professional footballer who had a love for both football boots and business. Selling boots that were unavailable in the retail shops proved to be very popular with players looking for retro pairs that other players didn’t have. We quickly grew a large following on Instagram (which at the time of writing this was 72,000) and became one of the largest accounts in the sector. It was clear there was a strong appetite for our services, so we decided to make the business a full time venture, invest in a lot more stock and take on an extra storage facility.

Sales continued to flow in and peaked at the time of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. By this time we had noticed more and more people were getting into football boot reselling and it had become quite a normal thing for players (even the very elite) to buy boots from Instagram or small independent resellers. It was at this point we realised there was a need for a marketplace where all sellers could showcase their products and all buyers could easily view all these products in one place.
After 5 years of selling boots as an ecommerce shop we finally decided to take the leap and switch to a marketplace platform. And this is what you see today.
